Do you and your spouse have joint ownership (title) of any assets other than real estate (vehicles, investment accounts, non-employer sponsored retirement accounts such as IRA’s 529 accounts, etc., and checking accounts)?*Joint title means that both spouses' names are on the title of the asset. Examples include bank accounts in both spouses' names, a residence with both spouses' names on the title or deed, investment accounts and IRA's with both spouses' names, etc.

Does either spouse have separate property?*Separate proeprty is any property owned or acquired before the date of marriage, or acquired during the marriage by gift or inheritance, and certain Personal Injury lawsuit awards
Do you and your spouse have jointly titled debts (mortgages, bank loans excluding credit card debt), i.e. debts that are in both spouses’ names?*You may have invididually title debts and joint debts. Joint means both parties are on the note or the obligation. Credit cards are joint if both spouses are on the account, not just an authorized user.
Are there more than 6 jointly titled debts?*
Are you and your spouse in agreement on the division of your debts?*
Is there a pending bankruptcy case in any bankruptcy court?*Divorce proceedings are stayed until the bankruptcy is resolved or the Court lifts the stay.
